Judiciary Participates in UWI Recruitment Fair
Students of the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus were exposed to the various career options available at the Judiciary when the organisation participated for the first time in the University's World of Work (WOW) Programme. Diverse opportunities were shared with over 500 students visiting the Judiciary's booth at the Career Fair last week. They were advised that many of the organization's employees find their niche not only in the obvious field of Law, but also in a host of inter-related fields.
The Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago participated alongside energy based companies, private sector organizations, Ministries and many others over the period March 22nd and 23rd. Students were provided with information packages about the organisation and material on the available Career Opportunities within the Judiciary including Specialist, Technical and Administrative alternatives.
The UWI WOW Programme, over its twelve year existence has provided students with the tools for succeeding in today's work environment. The two day Recruitment Fair played host to an increasing number of final year students in search of graduate and vacation employment.
The WOW Programme is an initiative which the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago will continue to partner with the UWI as a means of encouraging graduates and potential employees by providing a holistic view of the institution which, while emphasizing tradition and stability, has now embraced the process of change.
