The UCL Judicial Institute's Train the Trainers course is meant to equip judges, court and judicial education officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to be able to develop, design, deliver and evaluate appropriate training for judicial and court colleagues. This course is designed for those individuals who are responsible for the development and delivery of training to judicial decision makers and court administrators.

Part One of this three-part course was held from the 6th-8th of September 2014 in Trinidad. During Part One, all participants worked in small groups to design a short judicial training session drawing on the new knowledge and skills aquired. Over the three days, participants observed: Core Elements of Judicial Training, Methods and Techniques in Judicial Training, and Designing and Delivering a Judicial Training Session.

Part Two of the course will take place online until March 2015, and Part Three will commence over 2-days on-site in Trinidad in April 2015 during which participants will present their 8 new proposed judicial training sessions in full.
