The Honourable Mr. Justice Bereaux, JA

Mr. Justice Bereaux was first appointed to act as a Judge of the High Court in September 1997 and was then made a Puisne judge six months later. Justice Bereaux was appointed Justice on Appeal on April 20th, 2009.

Mr Bereaux was admitted to the Bar in 1981 graduating from Cave Hill Barbados with an LLB in 1978 and his Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in 1981. He also received his LLM in International and Comparative Law from the Georgetown Law Centre in Washington DC in 1984.

Prior to becoming a Judge, Mr. Justice Bereaux spent his entire career in the public service rising to the position of Solicitor General.
