PROCEEDINGS BY AND AGAINST AIDED PERSONS

Memorandum of Filing of Legal Aid Certificate

1. On the filing of a Legal Aid Certificate in accordance with section 29(2) of the Legal Aid and Advice Act, 1976, there shall be issued to the Director of Legal Aid or the solicitors assigned under section 28, as the case may be, a memorandum of such filing bearing the seal of the appropriate Registry, and in all subsequent proceedings, the production of such memorandum shall be sufficient evidence that such certificate has been filed.
