The Judiciary wishes to advise the public that the Scarborough Magistrates Court will be closed from December 31, 2020 to effect repairs to a faulty air conditioning system consequent upon the recent award of a contract to remedy the situation.

Operations will continue to be virtual during the closure and any urgent in person matters will be handled at the adjacent Supreme Court Building.

The Judiciary regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by the adjustment in operations at the Court and thanks its staff, the public, and other stakeholders for their continued indulgence.

Every effort is being made to have a speedy return to normalcy.
