Some achievements of the JEI over the years include the regularly held Judges, Masters, Magistrates, and Registrars Continuing Educational Seminars. In 2008, the JEI produced its first official publication - ‘A General Guide to the Civil Proceedings Rules 1998 -Trinidad & Tobago', and in 2011 it’s most recent publication the 'Republic of Trinidad & Tobago Sentencing Handbook.' Over the last eight years, the Judicial Education Institute has hosted over one hundred programmes and has trained hundreds of people, including persons belonging to other arms of our justice system. Workshops and training are scheduled throughout the law term and enjoy solid support from all stakeholders.

Also, the JEI has always sourced presenters and facilitators of the highest calibre for its programmes, in furtherance of its commitment to excellence. These presenters have come from institutions such as the Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute (CJEI), Federal Judicial Center (FJC), Judicial Studies Board (JSB), National Center for State Courts (NSCS), HeartMath, LAWriters and STITT FELD & HANDY just to name a few. Individuals who are experts in their field have also been used by the JEI.
