The Department of Court Administration provides the specialist staff needed to administer the Courts. It operates as an extension of the Judge’s mandate for managing the Courts and their cases under the direction of the Chief Justice.

Internal Audit

Department Profile

The Internal Audit Unit independently and systematically monitors relevant activities of all units under the umbrella of the Judiciary to appraise the level of compliance with government’s regulations and policies. The unit operates to ensure the achievement of value for public money expended, as well as to oversee that monies entrusted via the channels of the Judiciary are received and disbursed accordingly.

Activities include the verification of Financial and Administrative documents relating to all officers' personal benefits while in service to Judiciary, such as, approved current salaries; salary arrears; retirement and contract gratuity entitlement.
